Stenner adjustable rate pump for high pressure applications (up to 100 PSI) such as WELL WATER CHEMICAL FEED & IRRIGATION IRON STAIN CONTROL, 220V, 1/4" black UV tubing.

 

IRRIGATION IRON STAIN CONTROL: Well water irrigation systems are commonly used to for watering of lawns, golf courses, and nurseries. Ferrous Iron present in the water can cause unsightly staining of sidewalks, driveways, plants, and structures. Injection of polyphosphates is commonly required to prevent red water staining.

PRIVATE WELL CHLORINATION: Peristaltic metering pumps provide the most reliable means for injection of disinfectants such as chlorine to maintain biologically safe water in a water supply. Sodium Hypochlorite, commonly known as liquid bleach or liquid chlorine is the most popular form of chlorine used for disinfection of private water systems. It is easy to test for and maintain a residual level throughout the plumbing system and is relatively inexpensive. Common bleach can be used full strength or diluted with soft water to make a solution of suitable strength for maintaining the proper level of chlorine.

Stenner’s peristaltic adjustable pump can be wired to the well pump pressure switch so that both pumps operate simultaneously for continuous metering. If desired, a flow switch can also be used to activate the chemical feed pump. Stenner’s proportional metering system provides repeatable dosages based on water volume regardless of system flow rate and consists of a Stenner fixed output pump, PCM, and water meter.
