The Clean Source Drinking Water System is a digitally metered countertop designed to reduce lead, chlorine, turbidity and unwanted tastes & odors. The unit incorporates an electronic meter to monitor the filter's capacity in both time and gallons. The meter alerts with 3 LED indicators, green for filtering, yellow for reordering the cartridge (when approximately 10% of filter capacity remains), and red for replacing the cartridge when the capacity of 1000 gallons or 18 months of usage has been reached (whichever occurs first).
